Together We Are Better

No matter how many times someone tries to put you down for being a survivor, you will always be able to remember that there is someone else out there who knows better. This is no consolation. It is simply a reminder. You are better when you are not alone. It does not matter if it is the monster with their fist raised or the one in the mirror. Together we can overcome!

Every day is a new day, and with it come the rights and responsibilities that make us who we are. Whether or not that is going to hold you down and control your thoughts and actions is up to you. Every act in this life comes to an end, and every reaction stems from an action. Are you going to let someone else be the director in your story, or are you going to be the one to shout "CUT!" when the cameras are rolling?

Pick up the pieces. Put it back together. Put it on the shelf. In a while, you will be able to dust it off and laugh about how you forgot that it was even there. You are only Human, as you should be. Enough of this back and forth about how you could have done it better. No one on this Earth is authorized to give you the rundown on your own past when they cannot see the fog that clouded your mind. It comes back in the form of a sweltering grey cloud ready to boom and burst with storming torrents of regret and sadness. That is not their problem either, so why let them decide anything at all? This is your world, and it does what you allow it to do. Get out there and show them who is in charge!

There are so many places just waiting for you to discover their good graces. Not far behind are the haters and the abusive liars who put us here in the first place. Forget about them. They do not have dominion over anything other than falsehoods and stolen goodness. Real and genuine people will see right past their little games and send them on their way with a report on their backs. That is what it is all about. Take another good look at history and see how the survivors made it. See how each and every soul living and breathing on this planet today can thank the countless actions of willful people for their own story. We all come from somewhere, and it is going to end in the same place. Reality is not a joke, it is not a prison, and it is not something to play with. Grab it and go!
